MEMBA Shows

I made it over to Brooklyn to help MEMBA tie together their EP launch party! I functioned as a jack of all trades on the production team, helping install pieces all around the property to set the scene and importantly rig up a screen to cast projection. We rented a projector to fit the room, and I ran video live via VDMX, twisting and weaving it to fit each important musical moment. After hours of rehearsals and custom video rendering, it all came together perfectly!

The first MEMBA show happened in a small art studio space in Brooklyn. Packed past capacity with 99 people, we rigged custom projection scrims and a projector mount. During opening DJ sets, I let attendees twist nobs on my midi controller, altering video mandalas density and color palettes in real time. During MEMBA’s set, I controlled front and rear projection video simultaneously.
